Lisa Richards was born in central Florida. Attended a Baptist church as a child. After witnessing a split in the church, her family returned to their Episcopalian faith in which she was confirmed, served as an acolyte on the altar and assisted with the youth ministry. As she became of age, she knew there was more to "church" than just ritual routines. It was at the age of 21 she attended a ministry with a college friend and had her own encounter with Jesus Christ that began to nurture a seed that was planted years ago. Since then, she turned her talents over into the Lord's hands and began spreading the gospel through her music and spoken word endeavors. As life presented it's fair share of obstacles, she found herself straying away from that ministry but never from God. It wasn't until she prayed for God to lead her and her family to a ministry that she walked through the doors of COLO. It was there she accepted the call upon her life and embraced the process of transformation...one day at a time.
